Minimum Qualifications

Do you have what it takes to become a firefighter for the City of Spokane? Before you apply, make sure you meet the firefighter minimum qualifications and can pass all portions of the selection process. 

Age

Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application. There is no upper age limit. 

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent.

License

A valid driver’s license.

Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT)
